What happens to transparency?
PNG and WebP retain alpha. JPEG uses a white background. Metadata and animation are removed.
What are the limits?
Up to 20 MB per image, 24 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side. Still images only; animation and metadata are not preserved. Output format availability depends on your browser.
